Breakfast Sandos at Devil's Teeth Baking Company
/Luckily, after many cold July days, we got a nice dose of of sunshine, making for a breezy Sunday Funday! The girls met up at Devil's Teeth Baking Company, located in the Outer Sunset, just a about a block or two away from Ocean Beach.
The line for this place was out the door, but like any foodie's favorite location in San Francisco, if there's a wait... it's usually worth it. Stephanie and Nisa got there early and were kind enough to wait in line for both Abbie and myself.
The Good Eats
When we finally made our way to the counter, there was a list of things that made it hard to choose! My first pick was their breakfast sandwich ($5.50). I also picked up 2 beignets ($1 each, how could you not) along with an iced coffee (~$4).
The breakfast sandwich was about another 20 minute wait, but we didn't mind waiting outside on their sidewalk patio. To get something in my stomache quickly, at the last second, I grabbed one of their bacon, beer, cheddar onion muffins (~$2.50). Great idea.
We got our sandwiches and it was definitely worth the wait. Crunchy bacon, melted cheese, fluffy scrambled eggs all in the middle of a flaky biscuit. I may need to make this a regular trip.
Great to note for my fellow pawrents: this place is fur pal friendly! Devil's Tooth Bakery had a dog treat jar, and it may be a similar delicious treat to the human's cheddar biscuit we happened to buy. Nisa's dog, Xena, loved them.
Sidewalk Fun
The sidewalk is a busy, fun, and social place for a Sunday morning. Alongside families, and locals riding in on bikes, everyone seemed to be enjoying their time on the front patio area. We were even approached by the friendliest little girl playing with flowers, and hung out around us to pet Xena.
Chalk it up
Devil's Teeth Baking Company leaves out sidewalk chalk to draw as you please. Steph took the reigns as our artist for the day.
Before heading home, we walked a block away to the beach. While Xena got to run around, and the others relaxed, I walked the beach back and forth looking for some water Pokemon. That was the cherry on top of this well spent Sunday.
